New Screed Up

It’s a quick little screed up now, but it’s better than no Screed at all, isn’t it? Please check out the new Replacements oral history, entitle “All Over But the Shouting” by Jim Walsh. It’s an excellent read and it’s an honor that my lyrics are featured before the first chapter. Also, thanks to Jim Ridley and the Nashville Scene for naming “Nice Day” as the best song of the year. That’s an incredible feeling. The trip to the UK was great. Every night I got great listeners and the opportunity to play with Will Kimbrough, which is about as good as it gets. Next up in two weeks is the Americana Music Association convention and I’m playing several times, doing interviews and going to parties without drinking, which is an art form in and of itself. This weekend is with Will too: The Blue Plate Special radio show in Knoxville, the Down Home in Johnson City, and the Pine Ridge House Concert. Hope to see you there, and if not, I hope to see you all, each and every last one of you, very soon.
Cheers,
Tommy
