Man you must be my kin. When I turned 50 I bought a guitar and a year later I was playing at a local bar. I realized then that I’m never going to be a rock star. There, I said it. Thanks , I feel much better now.

It was great to watch your video and see you and Beth and your little grunion. I am pleased that you are doing well and, even though the status of “rock star” may not be in the cards, that you are still playing, writing, and loving music.

Some of my fondest memories of of the “Cheese Days” and I am glad to see old friends doing well.

hey Tommy, me neither….. but i don’t think I was ever supposed to be a rock star so it is not that hard to say it for me. there are other things that are harder though, and I hear you sayin’ some of those too and you make me cry, but in the good way, so thanks.

Hi Tommy, just discovered you today on “outlaw country”. Now, as my three toddlers slumber and my big-bellied husband snores, I google away to find out just who the hell you are. Your alpha dog song is very special. It’s been a long time since I got really excited hearing some “new” music (new to me, anyway) - like when I first heard nirvan or alison krause or miles davis. It’s really been a while - thank you! Maybe I’ll get to check out your show in austin this week. But, I’ll probably be home with a six pack watching ratatoullie.

The creativity never ends. Can’t wait for the new book, and the Cheese anthology. Luis recently discovered the Old 97s and we can’t help but think you’d like them, and vice versa. They have a very Cheesy sound, just maybe a little more produced. I call them “fancy Cheese,” more like a brie. I love reading entries from Tommy “newbies” and am thrilled to hear they’re finally playing you on Sirius. I’ve been e-mailing Outlaw Country for years. Glad to see they’re paying attention. Have a blast in the UK but come back to us (with your Nashville accent in tact).

We were driving up our dirt road from our yurt when we heard your song, “Alpha Male….” played on KHUM radio out of Garberville, CA. It was so frickin good that we stopped and said, “WHO THE HELL IS THAT GUY!!!” We tried to remember, but by the time we got back to our yurt we couldn’t remmember it it was Tommy or Joey or Sammy Womack..so it took us a while to find you, but we eventually did and as we listened to your album, we LOVED Alpha Male IMMEDIATELY and then warmed up to the rest of your songs as we smoked more weed. Seriously. YOu are a genius and don’t let the bastards get you down. We are doing our best to tell all our friends about you and hope that you will be playing at Carnegie Hall within the coming year….. we’ve asked my mother in law to put your name on her fridge….she’s a damn Norgwegian white witch and whatever she puts on her fridge, come TRUE….so get ready for Carnegie Hall! Have a safe trip to Europe and keep up the good work, man!

I think the key (especially with multimedia content) is to make it available in multiple formats, so that a potential customer can find what they need in whichever form fits their day.
