It’s been a while, hasn’t it folks. Summer has come and now it looks like it’s gone. I had a while off the road, hence not much in the way of announcements. What I’ve been doing is playing the occasional show and writing for the East Nashvillian magazine. Government Cheese played about a month ago at the Basement East here in Nashville and that was a hoot. The Americana Music Association convention was last week, and much schmoozing was had, much music was made and many business cards were exchanged. I have business cards, a box of them, but I forgot where I put them.

I’ll be in Louisville this weekend for two performances. Firstly, at noon tomorrow (Friday, September 30th) I’ll be on the “Live Lunch” program at noon eastern on WFPK. Then, at 8 PM I play at Gerstle’s with my whole band behind me and Danny Flanigan & Rain Chorus opening up. There will also be special guest appearances by Ned Hill and Lisa Oliver Gray during my set. Much fun will be had and if you’re in the Louisville area, I hope you hop in and heft a stein with us.  The next day, Saturday (10/1/16), I’ll be at the Muletown Music Festival in Columbia, Tennessee at 2:30 PM on the Bookstore Stage. If you’re in that neck of the woods, I’d love you to stop by. Many great acts are playing, like Paul Burch, Jason Ringenberg and Joe, Marc’s Brother.

Until next time! Don’t take any wooden nickels. See you next Monday, right here, for the Monday Morning Cup of Coffee. Every Monday by 9 AM on tommywomack.com. Cheers! Tommy
